Air minum untuk sekolah di Indonesia

In Indonesia, most primary schools do not provide safe drinking water to their pupils. Drinking enough water is essential for learning.  As piped water in Indonesia is not safe for consumption and other water sources are often contaminated, many children suffer from diarrhea, which causes them to skip school more often than needed.  Continuous exposure to contaminated water can also cause stunting.

Because safe drinking water is not available in most schools, children often buy very sugary drinks from vendors near the school, which increase the risk of diarrhea and obesity. Buying sugary drinks also causes a lot of waste.

Solution: 2 USD/student

Research by the Technical University of Bandung (ITB -being finalized) shows that the provision of water filters to school classes increases water consumption per student from 100 ml/ to 400 ml / day and reduces the consumption of sugary drinks.

It is our mission to put a filter in every school in Indonesia. This will drastically increase learning performance, reduce illness and improve general welfare
